Anyway I had scrambled egg whites today.
I was taking out the yolks and placing them in a cup…because that’s a skill ever business coach needs (NOT)..and this is what I ended up with..

Today we are going to talk about the importance of landing pages.
To be more specific…we will be talking about Generating Leads…aka the lifeblood of a business coach!
Now let’s talk about leads.
Have you ever watched Glengarry Glen Ross?
The amazing movie with Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey, Jack Lemon and Alec Baldwin?
The opening scene of this movie is a speech by the amazing Alec Baldwin which I feel every top business coach should watch.
Beware though.. that scene is EXTREMELY NSFW..very vulgar language.
But there is this one thing (among many things) that I absolutely love about that speech.
At the end when Alec Baldwin is done berating the people in the room…he holds up a stack of papers.. they are a list of leads.
And he says that he is not going to give those leads to them…because giving them that is a waste…they will waste the leads.
Business coach salary boost? How?
Now… how many times have wasted potential leads in our websites and Facebook pages?
Cool..you have a kicka*s website and a brilliant landing page… but here is the reality of it… you are going to lose 90% of the traffic that are going to come to your page.
Let’s face.. not everyone is going to buy your program in one go right?
What should you do with so much traffic?
You should nurture them.
You should build a relationship with them.
DO not waste traffic… ever….it is a cardinal sin.
In fact, regarding this the CeO of Chartbeat had some interesting things to say.
This is where you can use your landing page to convert your traffic into leads.
CAPTURE THE PARTICULARS OF EVERYONE WHO COMES TO YOUR PAGE.
Their names, email id, date of birth and anything else that you want.
Taking their email ids is a no brainer… that is what will enable you to keep having a relationship with them long after they have visited your page.
Taking their DOBs may come in handy later…say you have a program regarding “What does a Business Coach do”, that you are aiming for women between 35-45..
That’s when little pieces of information like that come in REAL handy.
Remember …and I know this since I learnt this lesson the hard way.
Don’t waste traffic… remember that every kind of traffic is precious and it is your job to convert this coal mine into beautiful diamonds.
